With more moving parts than any other machine, it’s not surprising your body often cries out in pain or refuses to do what you tell it to do. After all, there are hundreds of different muscles and joints that can have difficulty functioning. Fortunately, there’s an effective way to treat many of the problems you can experience by -
Physical Rehabilitation.
What is Physical Rehabilitation?
Physical Rehabilitation uses a variety of techniques to help your muscles and joints work to their full potential. It can help repair damage by speeding up the healing process and reducing pain and stiffness. It also has an important role in helping people who have had strokes to relearn basic movements. Our Physiotherapists don’t just offer treatment, their advice can help you prevent problems recurring or even happening in the first place.
Physical Rehabilitation helps millions of people manage the effects of illness, accidents, stresses and strains of everyday life. Whether you are young or old, active or taking it easy there is a strong chance you could benefit from Physical Rehabilitation at some point. Your first consultation will consist of a full assessment and treatment in the same session. At your first visit therapist will be able to give you some idea of the number of sessions of treatment you will need; most cases require on an average six to ten sessions of treatment.
Physiotherapist will formulate an effective treatment plan for your particular problem – no two courses of physiotherapy treatment are the same. Your treatment will take into account your lifestyle, leisure activities, general health and what you want to get out of the therapy. Therapist may also show you exercises you can do between the treatment sessions, and how to set goals to achieve results.
