Minimally Invasive Frayers prostatectomy and its outcome. Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India, submitted in November 1996. This was a prospective study involving 100 cases. The duration of patient stay in hospital, blood loss, cost effectiveness and morbidity was compared to routine Frayers prostatectomy and TURP. This study suggested that this new technique is alternative to TURP in rural setup with no added risk.

M.Ch. (Cardiothoracic Surgery)
Study of change in gradient across Mitral valve after close commissurotomy using Tubbs dilator, balloon dilatation using Inoue balloon, open commissurotomy. Bombay University , India , submitted in July 2000.

This was a prospective, study comparing 50 cases of each. The change in gradient after the procedure was noted. The Wilkins valve score for Mitral stenosis, age at presentation, sex, and associated cardiac condition was analyzed.
